Trump Shares AI-Generated Space-Themed Images Online
(MENAFN) US President Donald Trump shared a series of artificial intelligence-generated images on social media over the weekend, including one depicting him standing beside a restrained humanoid alien figure.
The digitally created image showed Trump alongside security personnel and a grey-skinned extraterrestrial-style character with oversized dark eyes. Reports noted that some elements of the restraints appeared visually distorted or incomplete, a common artifact in AI-generated imagery. The president did not provide any caption or explanation accompanying the post.
Additional AI-generated images shared online portrayed Trump inside a futuristic space station environment surrounded by military-themed visuals, including satellites and missile-defense scenes. Some of the images carried the label “Space Force” and featured exaggerated proportions typical of AI-generated artwork.
The posts appeared amid renewed attention on unidentified aerial phenomena after the US Defense Department recently released a collection of historical UFO-related documents, photos, videos, and reports involving unexplained sightings.
Since returning to office in 2025, Trump has promoted the proposed “Golden Dome” missile-defense initiative, a large-scale program aimed at expanding US interception capabilities both on Earth and in space. Reports have suggested the project could require spending reaching into the trillions of dollars over the coming decades.
US defense officials have argued that the program is necessary due to evolving missile threats, particularly the development of hypersonic weapons by countries including Russia and China. Pentagon representatives recently told lawmakers that current American defenses remain limited against certain advanced missile systems.
