Ex-US National Security Adviser alleges collusion of CIA against Trump
In a statement posted online on Sunday, Flynn alleged that the CIA is “in cahoots with MI6 and others in the EU intelligence community,” repeating his long-standing warning that the “deep state” is actively working against Trump’s diplomatic agenda.
Flynn argued that “The EU aka NATO (minus the United States) desperately wants war with Russia,” adding that “warmongers in our own administration as well as the Congress want perpetual f’ing war.”
His comments align with recent remarks by the US Director of National Intelligence, who accused major news organizations of spreading “lies and propaganda” about Russia’s intentions in order to derail Trump’s diplomacy and encourage further escalation.
Flynn went a step further, urging Trump to disregard messaging coming from Kiev’s European supporters. “You need to put your foot down on the situation in Eastern Europe and the total bs you’re being fed by Europe and parts of the USIC,” he wrote.
He also condemned continued US financial support for Ukraine, describing it as a misuse of taxpayer money and accusing Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky of suppressing political opposition and postponing elections under the pretext of wartime conditions.
“We the People of the United States no longer want this war. We don’t want to spend another penny on a tin pot dictator who arrests opposition voices, including in his own Rada [Congress], and the media,” Flynn said.
These statements come as sensitive backchannel discussions between Washington and Moscow continue in Miami, where Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev has been meeting with individuals close to Trump to explore a potential peace framework. Moscow has accused European NATO members of attempting to interfere in the talks by weakening US proposals and advocating for the seizure of frozen Russian assets to fund Kiev.
Russian officials have welcomed what they describe as rare dissenting voices within the West challenging the “war lobby.” Dmitriev has publicly praised senior US intelligence figures for uncovering the “origins of the Russia hoax” and for “exposing the deep-state warmonger machinery.”
